MEET MARIE GALLO

Marie Gallo brings 18 years of legislative and administrative experience to the residents of Parma Heights. She has served as a council member for over a decade and is currently serving her fourth consecutive term as Council President. As a full-time municipal human resources director, she assists with all city-wide divisions including police, fire and service. She has managed a senior center, division of youth and family services, division of information technology, civil service and a municipal building department. 

After graduating from Holy Name High School in 1997, Marie went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She then achieved her Municipal Clerk Certification, enhancing her knowledge of the legislative process and the rules and laws that govern city council. She served as a Clerk of Council for two municipalities, and was promoted to Director of Human Resources where she assists with the oversight of over 200 full-time employees and multiple city departments. Marie Gallo will hit the ground running as mayor.

Focus on working with residents to maintain properties to beautify our neighborhoods and increase property values

Support and strengthen our business community through marketing partnerships and economic development initiative.
